Summer 06: Still Life is now known as Eddie Harrison

Listen to some songs at Myspace A live version of 7 Keys and a demo of Over

"Eddie speaks for his generation. Those of the happy slapping, chav, hoodie, 50 cent wannabe, minor celeb obsessed world - beware. There's a lo-fi revolution. It's started in Lincoln and its strength will soon be felt in every city in the country. For Eddie will not be defeated . Go Eddie, go Eddie" - Digital Headspin

Feb 06: The second Still Life EP is being recorded at present and is set to be released in the spring. It will include some new songs but the track listing is as of yet unconfirmed. Still Life have had a successful year following the release of their debut EP Happy Boy last year. It gained them some vital recognition and helped get them a slot at the Global Peace Festival, playing infront of a sell-out crowd. Since then they have played at various other venues and played a slot at the regions premier open-mic night at the Drill Hall. Still Life have also signed on with Little King Records, a small indie label with no money who are putting out the new release.

7 Keys: This is a personal favourite song of mine, it means a lot to me and I'm sure it'll probably mean a lot to you. It talks about love and how certain people, you know they're the one, the best person ever, and that's why you write songs about them.
What people had to say:

"Stripped down lo-fi loveliness..."

"Indie at its nicest..."

"...evocative and ghostly melodies..."

"Fantastic. That's the music at least. The vocalist is great, with a great presence on the mic..."

"Part of the attraction of Over is the wistfulness and the loneliness only an acoustic guitar can truly convey. All in all a lovely song, one that successfully evokes a sense of loss, the end of a relationship"
Two of their tracks were played on aiiradio.net (Over and an exclusive live version of 7 Keys) Emails came flooding into the show from around the world showering praise on Still Life. One such email read "Thanks for playing Still Life, they were awesome!"

Little Pixie says: "I saw you at Global Village Peace Gathering and thought your set was adorable!"

electricsoftparade.org.uk: "Still Life create beautiful acoustic songs from the heart and my favourite I've heard so far is Over. Far better than most of what you hear on MTV2 these days (play it and see!!) Still Life could be the next Electric Soft Parade..."

Lyrics (Over)

So
Is it over?
Time
Would have told you

Piece
By piece
As the world
Goes
Tumbling

Oh how I need you
Oh how I miss you
Oh how I love you

What went wrong
I need to know
I can feel you
Letting go

Though there is
So much to say
I’m
Tongue
Tied

Oh how I need you
Oh how I miss you
Oh how I love you

Don’t say that its not over, when you know it isn’t true
You know that it’s, a useless thing to do

This might be the unforeseen calamity
Accidental tragedy

Oh how I need you
Oh how I miss you
Oh how I love you
